We add and change pictures here as often as possible. On our website you will find a lot of information. We try to post as much as we can, but if you do not find the answer to your question - please feel free to contact us! We welcome all questions.....big or small. Remember, the only stupid question is the one that goes unasked. If we cannot help you, we will try to point you to someone else who can. We would love to hear from you, even if you just want to comment or add a suggestion regarding our website.
We breed AKC Dachshunds; both standard and miniature. Our standards weigh no more than 16 lbs. and average about 12 lbs. The overall average size of our doxies is 11 lbs. The classification for miniature is 11 lbs. or under at 12 months of age. Most of our dachshunds are actually only a pound or two over the 11 lb maximum for miniature classification, but since they are not large enough to be considered a full sized standard.....are regarded as "tweenies" by most breeders. Size classification is not recognized by the AKC and was only adapted for the showring. We breed various colors and patterns, but we do not breed double dapples. We do breed chocolate and piebald, as well as the classic red and black and tan.
